Given the limited access to public transportation and ride shares in the area, we recommend renting a car if you plan to fly. The closest major airports are:

• Bradley International Airport (BDL) near Hartford, CT - about a 1.5 hour drive from Brattleboro

• Boston Logan Airport (BOS) - about a 2.5 hour drive

• From Hartford (1.5 hour drive): take I-91 north to Brattleboro.

• From NYC (4 hour drive): take I-95 north to Connecticut, take exit 27A for CT-8, then exit 9 to CT-15, then exit 9 to I-91 north to Brattleboro

• From Boston (2.5 hour drive): take MA-2 west to I-91, then continue north to Brattleboro.

The Amtrak Vermonter runs from as far south in Washington, DC and stops in Brattleboro, VT. It's a slow (but scenic!) route for those who would rather not drive. Shuttles will be available to and from Brattleboro on the day of the wedding.
